National monuments on our farm

On a beautiful sunny day back in September we had the privilege of bringing local Archaeologist Michael Lynch and his daughter out to explore with us to say he was in his element is an understatement we started with an area we knew very little about and he certainly filled in the blanks! We have uncovered a settlement he said with one large dwelling house and other smaller groups of circular stone ruined structures which would have been a little community he said this was very typical of the time where they would farm the good land and live close by in the the rocky less fertile areas.
